Your Inner Guide

You know, 

Exactly what to do, 

Oh, you know, 

But you won't choose you,

You will choose someone else's inner knowing,

and ignore your own.

When we get into a problem. We are quickly told to ask someone for help or advice about the situation. It never occurs to us to just sit down and allow ourselves to receive the answer/solution to our own issues from within. What I've learned is that we always know the answer but it is when the truth is hard to accept that we seek out others to help us cope. It is a form of escape from ourselves and the reality facing us. We always know. Our inner guide is always there. Your inner guide has been with you since the day you were born. It has been collecting data on you. Every thought and feeling you have experience is calculated by your current experience. You know your own life like nobody else. You know when you are lying or being truthful. You are the complete expert on you. Other people are there to just help you see what you already see if their intentions are pure. 

Sit alone in a quiet space and allow the truth to emerge and there you have your answer. But we rather seek out the noise and the confusion others provide to drown our inner guide. The inner guide is not biased and is there for your highest good. You can call it your intuition or gut. There are many names for it. But it serves one purpose. That purpose is to get you to your highest self. To move you from your lower vibration/frequency to the state of pure wellness and balance. 

You always knew. But we live in a society that teaches you that you are wrong and that external voices are more valid. The reality is, you were always right and it's okay to listen to yourself. Before seeking out advice next time, face your own truth in the mirror. Other people's second-rate perception of your situation can never compare to your inner guide first knowing. Other people are there to help you guide you back to you. But are never your voice. 

You always KNEW.
